Yep. And when somebody steals YOUR puck in free skate? You’re DEAD.
Yep. And when somebody steals YOUR puck in free skate? You’re DEAD.
But the play was dead. So not really an issue. Plus there’s not any teaching or learning to be had in a rec league.
The ref isn’t supposed to jump in at all. That’s the linesmen’s job.
You’ve never been hit with a blocker then.
Why the hell would you run bias ply tires? They make radial repos for nearly every style.
If you’re applying slow and easy pressure to the brakes in a corner, none of that will happen. A driver should know how to “feel” their vehicle. If you can’t tell that you’re understeering, you’ve got some serious issues. The under-to-over-steer spin is a mis-correction - they feel understeer, so they brake harder,…
Breaking through a turn really isn’t an issue unless the road is icy. STM/TCS in most cars does a wonderful job of keeping things on the straight and narrow. Now if every car was built like a rear-brake-only kart? We’d 95% of the population dead in a week.
NHL 15 Demo? Really? And with that crap of a highlight? Idiot.
Damn that was brutal.
I have a pretty awesome story.
When I was younger I played roller hockey (ice was too expensive and we lived in southern california) at a Gretzky Roller Hockey Center. Gretzky was in town to visit for the grand opening and I won a chance to skate with him and a handful of other kids. Awesome guy. He didn’t lace up,…
VIII was the best!!!
Honda’s have the best CVT? Drive a 4-cylinder Accord. Absolute crap. It STUTTERS when you put your foot in it. What the hell!
Drive a Maxima with CVT. It’s glorious. That thing moves.
You don’t just “add a lower gear”. It shifts the whole set of ratios.
Have you not understood all along that more gears=more efficiency? That’s the main purpose. I’ll give you an example, sense you’re more of a visual learner.
2015 Corvette Stingray / Z06
Nobody said it was necessary. Nobody said it was more fun. I simply said it gave a very nice cruising gear. For long drives, 7th gear is amazing. It’s more comfortable and fuel efficient than 6th - but also just a step away from the same power. Much like shutting down cylinders at highway cruising speed. Do I need it?…
So continue thinking along those lines.... If we have more lower gears, they can be stretched farther, thus allowing final gear to be a bit taller with lower rpms at cruising...
IMHO Mazda always had the sexiest low-budget car models. I just always feared their reliability. Born and raised Toyota - it’s tough for me to switch. I had a new Honda Accord for about 5 days before I traded it back in.
Take it to a Toyota dealer. They’ll do the maintenance for cheaper to boot!
