I got to see a live NNF taping in Atlanta last year, but I had to miss Jimmy doing a regular standup show the next night because I had driven in from out of town and didn't feel like getting a hotel. I still hate that I missed that.

I never bothered with Smoothnoodlemaps or Total Devo. I bought Shout at a record show for a dollar, and I only listened to it once before filing it away on my shelf. The only thing I remember about it is that it has a cover of "Are You Experienced" on it.
I think California and Disco Volante are pretty neck-and-neck. It really just depends what mood I'm in. One thing I can definitely say though is that I can barely listen to the debut anymore. That one just sounds grating and obnoxious to me now.
Yeah, Quebec has become probably my second favorite Ween album behind The Mollusk. It really captures them doing everything they were great at in one album.

Pretty sure "The Day the Laughter Died, Part II" got an A.

They sure are. I don't think I've made it through an entire song of theirs without changing the station. I must be getting old. Give gramps his big dumb guitars, dammit!

Those reissues look cool. Ryko did a vinyl release of Copper Blue just a couple of years ago though, so I'm not sure if I can justify buying that one again. Is Beaster good? Never heard that one.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. There's only so much you can do with a low-fi recording. Might as well stick with the CDs that are out there.

@m0nit0rman:disqus I guess you've got me there. Perhaps, "supporter" is a strong word to use. I'm basing my information off the fact that, on his VH1 Behind the Music, he said that when all of the other bands at the time were against the war, they thought "we should have gone in there and kicked their butts."
