Where exactly is her insistence of“no imbalance of power”? She reminds the interviewer that Lewinsky was an adult, which was true. She claims he didn’t abuse his power, but does not insist there was no imbalance. There is a very big difference between an imbalance of power between two adults having sexual activity and

So now we know who turned her in!

well this would have been something like 2001 so...

Well, lack of work is the very good reason that people leave.
There are certainly some great spots for history buffs and nostalgia (I‘m glad this thread has reminded me) but the continued job losses outside of the service industry continue to be a drag on the whole region.

The whole “renaissance” thing is not a

Awful place. Go to the Canadian Niagra Falls or detour through upstate NY college towns instead.
There’s a very good reason why so many people seem to be from Rochester but don’t live there.

Just because they don’t call it “charcuterie board” doesn’t mean working class people don’t entertain with a “fancy meat and cheese tray”. And while sous vide is trendy it’s not exactly out of reach when you can pick one up for far less than a decent grill and use one with a zip-lock bags and a cooler. It’s not as if

She was the BEST companio...never mind, wrong article. Thought I was on io9.

Monopoly was never perfect at anything, It’s just what was available. There are plenty of better games these days for teaching kids about unfairness, money, rent, percentages, etc.

Playing a 90-minute game for 3 and a half hours does not make it more fun. Money on Free Parking and ignoring required auctions are THE best examples of how house rules can have unintended consequences that make a game worse.

Great deal but the hype in calling this very long adventure campaign game as the “worlds greatest game” could really turn off more casual gamers who listen to your recommendation. BGG’s ratings system is hardly a good gauge of what the greatest anything is when most gamers do not rate games on BGG.

Disney land is smaller and more consistently crowded. Just saying.

As long as you manage expectations it can be MORE fun as an all adult trip. You just need to manage expectations when comes to cost and that there will be children and families everywhere (including in many bars and expensive restaurants that you’d expect families to avoid). I was converted to a park fan by my Disney

Gay white guy here to say not all gay people are clutching our pearls in offense by hearing a straight woman observe that many straight people are grossed out by the sight of two men kissing.

I promise you gay people are very very aware of this absolutely true fact.

If you are going to paraphrase a famous quote from Julia Child, at least credit her.

Also do not call or text your host an hour or less before the party starts to ask “can I bring anything?” or worse for the address/ directions because you didn’t bother storing that info from the invite. Completely baffles me that people continue to do this.

Its a Miniatures Game, which means, no, it will absolutely not come complete in one box. There will be a core game and many many add-ons. That’s how all Miniatures Games work (as opposed to games that have miniatures).

Catholics do not circumcise their children for religious reasons! Most Catholics outside of the US are uncircumcised.

Being honest about what is frankly a kind of abuse in some people’s opinion shouldn’t be silenced with “it’ll shame the child” excuse. And yup in the US it is definitely the uncircumcised that are “shamed”, one of the many excuses parents (who should be shamed) use for doing it with no medical or religious reason.
