Long, strange, and probably unnecessary story-

It's worth giving a try. When I've had discussions about the show, we never talk about quality, which just seems obvious, but instead about the philosophy behind cops that are out to help everyone, even the nominal villains of the week.

Everything you are doing here is bad. I want you to know this.

The initial reasons were that when VCRs were new, most people didn't own them and video rental joints were popular. So videos were expensive because the market was relatively small. When consumers began buying VCRs for home more often, the assumption was that people wanted to watch movies, not own them, so the pricing

I'm fairly certain Al Leong had "that guy" trademarked in the late '80s and we're all required to refer to him as that guy anytime we see him.

Thanks for your service.

Most fun fact: he played Tank on Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future.

I'm going to open myself up to ridicule here, but I'm an unabashed fan of Superman Returns. The day we saw it, I asked my lovely wife, "How the fuck are they going to make money on a move only I will love?"

Agreed. Great movie, but I've never seen it since it was in theaters.

For my 40th birthday, I rented a movie theater and showed Streets of Fire.

Had it remained what it was conceived as, I'd agree with you. However, you can't argue with the music itself. It's good. Plus the performers took over the the business, who can hate that?

Also, musician/millionaire/car nut/ movie producer. Cool guy!

Maybe now I'll be able to drop the "Jimbo Slice" nickname.

What Am I Doing Hangin Round is such a beautiful, simple song about regrets and longing. When I was young (saw the Monkees in 86, when MTV made them popular again) I never noticed that song. As a man in my mid-40s, I can listen to it for hours.

Was it Ducktective? My wife and I agree they need to spin that off from Gravity Falls.

"Where are we going?"
"PLANET TEN!"
"When?"
"WHEN KEVIN SMITH GETS AROUND TO IT… REAL SOON!"

I'd love to see his Battlefields or WAR Stories adapted. It cries out for an HBO anthology treatment with each book or story getting as much time as they need. His WWII stuff really captures the drudgery of war well.

Eh, it could be two things. I quite enjoyed Identity/Infinite Crisis, but the books that followed should have had a different tone. Infinite Crisis read as an end to the dark era and things should have brightened afterward. Instead we got hammered by bleakness every step of the way.

One of my favorite scenes in comics is the confrontation between Superman and Wonder Woman over the female slaves Wonder Woman freed who murdered their captors. Superman can't understand her refusal to stop the carnage.

2016 sucks. I fully expect the Democrat's candidate to die two weeks before the election, just to keep the streak of shit up.
