That was a ridiculously inspiring post.

This happens quite a bit, and usually it ends up that the person was just mashing the gas (err, I guess the current) pedal in a panic to stop. I don’t buy for a second that they were actually braking.

I was lent one when my car was in for maintenance, I was pretty appauled by the rear visibility, although I’m not used to driving cross-over type cars. I’ll agree that it is pretty fun though, but if you’re too tall the hud is literally useless (but at least it isn’t distracting).

I like roundabout ways of measuring things. Like to measure the weight peice of paper, you grab 28 paperclips, one of which is a known mass (and you a s s u m e that the rest are the same, then you get enough paper to balance those out, and some unit conversion later, boom. you figure out 1 peice of paper was not…

Looks like a mazda, hyundai, and a subaru all had an orgy and a kia showed up a little late but joined in anyway.

The thing is, I’ve seen this happen (minus the trucks crashing) on multiple occasions (in America that is), someone will just stop on the highway and turn, or stop on the shoulder and reverse to the offramp instead of taking the next one like a normal human being. It’s insanity.

By the amount it crumpled, i’d say it’d be pretty difficult to escape that ford.
