I would be all in on an “oops all side quests” story with Ventress. Much in the same way the Bad Batch was sort of off doing their own thing for a bit. I know the secret base and Hemlock were the big bads but for a while there it was just fetch quests and podracing to make ends meet. Just let Ventress chew scenery,

Halfway expected Burnham to look at the unconscious Burnham after she knocked her out and say, “That IS Discovery’s ass.”

Hmmmm I gave up on the crying mess after season 2. Might have to check out this episode . . .

No, it makes you a goddamn hero!

I’ll expand a bit .....Dude that guy is a super fucking loser. It’s absolutely amazing how someone can be so moronic to think that calling a child a bigot will get them to persuade anyone of a rational argument when it’s the most bigoted and pathetic thing a person can say. It’s honestly pretty sad. Especially since

Actually you’re really wrong about disney stock. It was at roughly 80 in november, and its basically the exact same value it was during the beginnning of the pandemic.  It’s had basically no positive growth in like 5 years.

It’s absolutely amazing how someone can be so moronic to think that calling a child a bigot will get them to persuade anyone of a rational argument when it’s the most bigoted and pathetic thing a person can say. It’s honestly pretty sad. Especially since I’m actually proud of my son

My problem is the soulless looking “live action” remakes that strip very iconic and recognizable cartoon characters and art styles and puts them into inexpressive, boring to look at CGI animals. The realistic reboots CAN work, but that will shift the audience to an older demographic so you MUST amend the movie to fit.

God some of you posters can be so pedantic, especially those of you that are straw manning the shit out of his position (looking directly at you LRON).

That was my first question. They plan to release the movie - an animated movie no less - this year but don’t have a primary actor on board yet? Seems a bit...aspirational.

Final VA is generally toward the end of the proecess. The voice acting can be expensive depending on the total cast of characters, the number of days, the availability of talent, etc., etc., etc., etc.

I was expecting much more analysis like this in the article. I also saw a comparison online that Deadpool wakes up in a bed made out of giant jaws - just like the one Hulk sleeps in in “Ragnarok”.

And there’s a shot of red-black gloves firing Uzis - which is not the color scheme of Deadpool’s gloves and not his usual

This shot of Deadpool in the snowy forest... I think this is Sokovia during the opening of Age of Ultron.

Avatar 1 was the only time I’ve ever fallen asleep in a theater. Maybe it’s because I work in the environmental field, but I felt like I was watching something written by a 4-yr. old. There was no tension or nuance or subtext or anything interesting at all. I actually saw it while on vacation, so it’s not like I went

Can they PLEASE just go get Sisko out of the wormhole already?

I would watch the heck out of this.

My dude, you have no idea how much I’ve wanted to see Harriman again. As much as I hated Generations the adventures of the Enterprise-B under Harriman fascinated me.

I could not agree more. In a perfect world, we’d roll into Legacy with the buzz and momentum for that concept still fresh as the next series and let Discovery rest for a few years.

I graduated in 1988. I guess I gotta shop for jackboots now.

Not so fast, Die Hard was set in 1988. Then if you read it in German it could be seen as “Die Härte” aka the hardness. What did Hitler want the German youth to be like? Exactly, hard like steel. Which brings us to the name of the protagonist... McLane, as in McLane Steel Works. Come on it is so obvious, just like the
