Dude... calling a kid a bigot? What the actual hell is wrong with you? Once again, as is typical, no rational counter arguments, just lots of name calling.

I’m just saying there are lots of parents in America who are not comfortable with sexual messaging, LGBTQ or otherwise in programming designed for kids 12 and under. And whether liberals want to accept it or not, a multi billion dollar corporation like Disney has to pander to the lowest common denominator or they will

You must be a joy at parties.

What? Their shares were 70 dollars a couple weeks ago. The lowest in over 12 years. They are hemorrhaging money by over spending on movies before scripts are even completed. There are horror stories of the production of Captain America Brave New World that indicate they have over inflated the budget to the point where

I love how when you disagree with someone, you resort to name calling. It certainly makes you seem perfectly rational and normal and not a bitter person at all.  If you can provide a logical counter argument that doesn’t rely on strawman arguments or name calling, feel free.  Otherwise be mature and simply don’t

No shit sherlock. But I’m pretty sure her failing to defeat the sea witch, turning into foam and ascending to a higher plane of existence where she effectively becomes an angel for 300 years until she dies of old age and goes to Mermaid heaven would test well with audiences.

8 years ago I considered myself Center Left. But the bar has shifted so far to the extreme Left that my Center Left views (That haven’t changed since 2015) are now somehow considered Right Wing.

Disney’s stock price and subscription numbers.

Yes, but being woke just to check a box is not diversity. Shoehorning in a random lesbian couple into the background of Rise of Skywalker is not diversity it’s checking a box.

The fact that they remade Little Mermaid in the first place was the issue. I didn’t care that she was black. I did care that they changed the ending so that Prince Eric was no longer the hero in the final battle and it was her who saved him. If you are going to remake a classic film, at least keep the climax the same.

Woke - Poorly written forced diversity that prioritizes skin color, sexual orientation, or gender identity over character agency to the point where a character isn’t recognized for their actions or heroics in a story and are instead recognized by their DEI checkbox thus breaking any sense of immersion that a story was

Ellen Ripley agrees with you because she had agency and grew through adversity. Ellen Ripley is not Rey Palpatine.

This is exactly what I’m referring to. When stuff is shoehorned in to the point where they are saying “LOOK AT HOW DIVERSE WE’RE BEING”. When it adds nothing to the story it just feels like they are being diverse to check boxes. Parents and kids get wise to that stuff. Good example with Strange World.

Look, I know I may get perma greyed for saying this. But you have to produce content that appeals to Parents. If parents don’t want their kids seeing politically charged woke content, parents aren’t going to subscribe to Disney+ or take their families to Disney movies. They need to go back to telling good stories

I haven’t been to Disneyland since December 12th 2001 (Yes really).   Has the simulation ride actually changed from the Comet Storm into Deathstar Trench run?

I genuinely think her Agent only saw it as a Marvel movie and didn’t understand anything about Sony owning the rights to Spiderman adjacent characters. So Dakota probably agreed to it because she thought is was part of the MCU and therefore a guaranteed hit.  No wonder she fired her representation.

I don’t think I would want a remake. Certainly not split across 3 40 hour experiences sold for 70 dollars each.

I have concerns.  This movie is supposed to be out THIS YEAR?  Doesn’t it take a long time to do quality animation?  And isn’t standard practice recording the voices first so that animators can match the lips of the characters to the dialogue?  I realize that technology is good, but is it THAT good to do this in 6

I still want them to have a Season 9 where it is revealed that all of season 7 and 8 were a Bran Stark vision of a possible bleak future and then just redo them with Bran making different decisions that impact how the rest of the story pans out resulting in a less cartoonish ending.

They can still use “Kang” it would just be a different actor.  But instead of it being a Counsel of Kangs vs 616 Avengers movie, it will be one Kang (Who looks different) gaining the powers of the Beyonder and creating Battleworld in the wake of Loki failing to keep the Multiverse held together.  Basically skip the
