The Last Jedi was a pretty film of eye candy. But it fails basic screenwriting stress tests. It killed the fantasy of Star Wars by making the passage of time so unbelievable that it literally takes you out of the movie.

Marvel has REALLY dropped the ball on phase 4 and 5. They pushed out too much too fast when they really should have slowed down and given characters time to develop. The best outings of Marvel since Endgame are Spiderman No Way Home (A Sony Film) and Loki (A Disney+ exclusive) and Wakanda Forever.

It was a good episode. I realize there are some saying that it was “Too Woke” but honestly, it really wasn’t because there wasn’t a trans person in it just for the sake of having a trans person.
