It’s been spotty at best today. Honestly it’s prebably not so much a server issue as it is a bandwidth issue. You can have a quantum computer running the game, but if the routers between it and the playerbase are overloaded you are plum out of luck.

My city is pretty evenly balanced. I can see 3 gyms from my house. The only one that is Blue is the one that I can connect to from my bedroom because the gym is next door. I have a pokespot in my front yard too. I have 200 pokeballs and nothing to spend them on.
