As a long term Volvo guy I compared these with the GTIs and they were lacking in pretty much every objective category, the exterior styling was the only thing that really worked. Waited a couple of years and bought an R. No regrets at all.  

They need to sharpen that steel girder so that it can slice off the entire top.

Kind of looks like a cheap aftermarket body kit. Do those scoops and vents actually have a function? No problem with all the gizmos if there is some purpose other than just to make the quota of flash.
