They already have notches.

My wife and I were talking about down the road buying a classic car. Just kinda dreaming about the day we become empty-nesters. We were looking at cards on AutoTrader Classic and as soon as she saw what’s possibly the cutest and happiest car every conceived she fell in love and keeps asking me when we can get one.

Yeah, sometimes a comment gets my brain ticking in one way and I don’t realize until later that my response was actually off topic.

Oh, totally agree. If you have the money to pay for a new car completely you’re better off investing that money if the optional financing is in the <3% range.

I think the point of depreciation on a used car vs. new is that car depreciation is kind of exponential. The value decreases super fast up front but and some point, 8ish years or so and 100k miles later the value levels off and depreciation drastically slows down. If you buy a brand new car for $35k and sell it a year

Do you feel good about yourself?

I mean, this isn’t terribly uncommon, right? Didn’t Subaru do this to the Impreza for 5 years or so? (clearly not 30 years, but still)

Holy shit I had one of these. How could I have forgotten about this for so long?

Articles are for reading.

Driver’s name is Rafaela. I think soul-patch looking thing is one of those lip studs.

I’ve gotta believe (imagine/hope) that the investigation into the accident included looking at the driver’s phone.

So all the people giving shit to the driver saying she was on her cellphone instead of paying attention need to re-aim their pitchforks at Uber corporate for giving her an additional responsibility that inherently makes her take attention off the road.

Nope, still don’t understand viscosity. From experience, when you change the oil on a cold engine the oil comes out like a thin syrup, but when you change the oil in a car that’s fresh off the freeway it comes out like water. So, why the higher number for the warm operation temperature viscosity when warm oil is thin?

I feel like maybe you haven’t been in a Subaru in a long time...and are forgetting about early 2000's GM.

Weren’t they opposed to the standards back when Obama was pushing for them?

I feel like that’s saying the EJ25 in my Subaru is a Toyota engine because Subaru put the FA20 in the 86/FR-S.

Because broken clocks are right twice a day.

Is that a Nova?

Speaking of Subaru, back in the late 90's early 00's when they started getting popular with the younger crowd and people had no idea that “boxer” and “Boxster” were two different things, “yeah man, it’s got a Porsche engine in it.”

If you’re looking at Chrysler for Art Deco, at least make the Crossfire the car you have eyes for. That’s actually a pretty hansom little roadster, in my oppinion.
