$1000? I think people would pay that in a heartbeat. We paid $2000 and change for the Eyesight upgrade on our Outback in 2016 and all that really gives you is lane departure warning and steering assist, collision avoidance, and adaptive cruise.

IMO, now that time has done its part in the manufacture and distribution of rose colored glasses, the Aztek is quirky which is a trait that can be perceived as endearing. The QX56 is tasteless and ugly. No amount of rose colored glasses is going to change that.
