The original versions should have never been delisted to begin with. They can spin it all they want via a press release apology, but at the end of the day, you expect more from a company that claims the series is special to both them and us. I hate being a cynic when it comes to this industry sometimes, but this was

These types of statements are always the best because they’re the people in charge of releasing the things:

Love the dismissal of someone with actual experience, lmao journalists sure can be douchebags

I say go with whatever you like best. But since I bought the PS5 (two months ago) I have gotten like 12 free games (God of War, The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 15 Royal Edition, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Fallout 4, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Persona 5, PGA Tour 2k21, Mortal Kombat X, Monster Hunter World, Days

Kotaku hurt itself in its confusion!

A few points.

The links you’re citing don’t even support what you’re saying.

Few counterpoints:

Interesting piece. So is the one linked below, which is one of several as I recall where Kotaku openly chastised ‘gamers’ for crying “But muh accuracy!” at Battlefield V including women soldiers during WWII, going so far as to imply they were sexist for calling out what they felt was clear corporate pandering. Times

Just spread some Bible pages on top of them. Problem solved.

Was this rude and culturally insensitive? Absolutely. Does it need to be there? Nope. Should it be removed and apologized for? Yep.

They didn’t really lose them though. They fired them, because Vince and his Hivemind are greedy, petty, shortsighted assholes.

This is worse than those ads Peter Jackson made for Tolkien’s famous novel!

Are you asking why so many films are based on existing properties?

Except with smartphones and cars you check to see what features they have and decide what you want based off of that, you don’t buy something where a feature is clearly not included and complain about it after. The devs in this case did not intend for a save or suspend feature, and never advertised one, so no, this

Accessibility is fine, what isn’t fine is pandering to entitlement, all that does is create more of it.

Alternatively, you can let developers create the gameplay how they want it to be even if it cuts out a group of players. If the souls games implemented an “easy” mode it would be no skin off my back as long as that’s where they wanted to take the game, but I also don’t see the need to add one in just because certain

I forgot to mention that in my post about FC2. Yeah, those damn checkpoints would respawn in minutes.

I don’t know if it actually affects its ranking, but...

Far Cry 2 is trash. Every second of that game someone is shooting at you. Thankfully future games fixed that problem by letting you take over encampments which cut down on enemy spawns.

Far Cry 5 did have some gameplay improvements in the form of pets and planes, but it dragged on too long. Overall Far Cry 4 was more enjoyable.
