who cares about MCU Kang? We’ve seen him beaten/overcome how many times now? Not the best way to setup your event defining villain, just as a ‘no real stakes, knock him down and another pops up” villain of the week...

Ah yea, entitled and ignorant. Inshallah.
The trick is to not give a shit about any of those games except for Helldivers 2.
it was always said we probably wouldn’t see X-Men MCU movies until close to 2030 anyway.
Not really comparable at all but xbotting is hard work, I guess.
How is this any different than most other games these days?
Just say you’re mad they aren’t on Xbox lol
this is a water brained comment even for the Kotaku comment section.
They should cast a Middle Eastern or Egyptian actor, they don’t have to stick with an African American or black actor. Hell, they could do literally anything.
All major studio budgets are insane now, covid or not
That ignores the quality of those films…or lack thereof
Franchise fatigue, much like “superhero fatigue”, is something used as an excuse for people not flocking to mediocre films. People seem to forget all the reviews for the film that releases weeks before the movie actually came out calling it meh to bad.
The first half of Crystal Skull is great. I don’t think you could fix the second half.
Honestly, no matter how dumb the decisions were, they didn’t shelve films that were going to make lots of money.
Being better than Rings of Power seems like a very low bar to overcome in practically every aspect.
I think that its more they just stopped making them and instead focused on cash grab mobile games...and 99% of people don’t pay attention to mobile games in any serious way.
“The house of ideas” is too frequently “what are they doing in the movies or games”
The mcu defense force coming full swing.
I don’t think they do expect that. With as tough a nut to crack as live service games are I think this is the shotgun approach. LS games fail so quickly and often that they might think going for 10+ of them they will increase the chance one or two of those make it.
Pretty sure its 12 games because they just need 1 or 2 of them to succeed.
