I wouldn't go that far. I love Crimson, saw them open for Tool a few times as well as on their own. The influence is certainly there, but with the exception of Poly Rhythm obsessions, I don't think they sound alike.

Just started this show, didn't read the review just wanted to ask this question: Do they swap the entire cast out? The photo with the title card on Hulu shows an entire different group of actors then the ones in season one.

I don't know what movie Igna saw, because the wife and I saw this tonight and loved every minute of it. Action was so well done I overhead old guys in the bathroom talking about it afterwards.
