Ah wonderful! I was using whatever the tool for sending Growl to NC was, and I didn't like how I couldn't separate the applications, so I stopped using it. This will make most of my issues much better. Thanks for sharing!

I use Simplenote for everything note related. I mean, my book is being written in Simplenote. I find it that useful. For quick note taking though, I use Evernote because of it's Android widget. I have tons of ideas and what not written in there. I plan on replacing Evernote with iCloud syncing once I get an iPhone. I…
I don't root my NST myself, but I've heard for those that use Calibre (or any ebook management software) and store their library in Dropbox that they should install Dropsync on the NST to get all new books that you put in your library nearly instantly.
I love these posts about writing. They can be really helpful! Keep them flowing!
Two things you need to do to this list. First, replace Flick Note with Notational Acceleration. It's very much like Notational Velocity on OS X, but for Android. Basically perfect, although I do understand the attraction to Flick Note with the swiping actions.
Or, until we can get Google Now on iOS :D
Thanks for the great reminders on how to manage mood and emotion. They are quite helpful.
If only I had the talent for something like this...
Just requested it from my local library. Looking forward to getting my hands on this.
I'm so happy you put The Dark Knight over the Avengers.
Ah, that makes more sense now :D Thanks!
Yes, there was. There were two credit sequences, a fancy animated one that smoothly transitioned into a scene with Thanos (typo?), then a generic scrolling text one. After the scrolling text, there was a short 15-30 second segment where the Avengers are sitting at a table in Shawarmas, just eating and relaxing after a…
It's things like sending files to your Kindle that guarantee that I will leave my Nook for a Kindle next time I buy an ereader. Since I already use Dropbox to store my Calibre library, it would be amazing if I could tell it to send every new .mobi file to my Kindle.
Win.
That's what my comic reading friends tell me. While the Joker never touched Batman, Bane broke Batman's back. Like, what? This guy is srs bsns. I'm so stoked for this movie.
I can't even handle this. Not being a reader of comic books, I thought the Joker was ruthless. The Joker looks like breakfast compared to Bane.
I can't even handle how freaky all of this looks right now. I have this perverse attraction to this horrifying scenery right now.
I am a creative individual, and I do habitually lie. Most of the time, I don't stretch it too much, but it always makes just as much sense as the truth. It's not really a good thing because then people come to expect certain things of me.
What a twisted concept! I think I'll use that in the short story I'm currently writing....
Oh yes, I agree with this. I had the fortune of reading all the novelizations before seeing any of the movies, and the books are infinitely better. I highly recommend them.
