Good memage! Watching the Ford GT stream, I was struck by the M8's size....anyone have a good unedited shot for a true comparison?

Nice work! But we all know about Michael P. Smith, right?
That’s the smaller Monarch, aka Ford Grenada. Not the same car.
I want to party with you, man.
Equalizer, maybe? Of course my friends’ cars had those back in the day. Were they worthless? Probably.
Wait, there’s a Lyndon Johnson dealership? You’re leaving out the most important part. So many questions...
You don’t understand the term “journalist.” Or “insane.”
Any sports car is the Buick of the car world.
Ah, yeah. Miles deserved to be known among the all-time greats.
Or you could, you know, choose not to immerse yourself in sports-fan idiot culture. I’m from New England, now in the Midwest, and have found it’s really not that difficult to completely avoid the minority who allow some millionaires’ laundry (which is what sports franchises are) determine their outlook. Yeah, back in the 80s I covered a dust explosion at an elevator similar to this one. The basic concrete structure was intact but every window, door, interior wall was gone and houses across the street had major damage. 6 people killed.
The bicentennial summer I graduated from high school I “worked” for a Chevy dealer driving cars to/from auctions in SD, ND, MN. These were late model full-sized GMs mostly. You’d be surprised what a ‘74 Cutlass would do flat out on a Dakota two lane. Good times.

My employer back in the day had a small (3-4 cars) fleet of Neons. They didn’t suck! They were beat on 24/7/365 and came back for more. And as another commenter noted, the basic look actually holds up remarkably well.
All Monte Carlos are/were crap. We knew that when they were new (1st gen).
Had both an Omni and a Horizon back in the day, when they were actually fairly decent for the money. No more and no less what they were intended to be, just honest transportation. They were both manuals, and with revs up all the time (Rabbit/Golf engine!) they were kinda fun.
I like this line of thought. Someone with obvious talent/skills put the time/effort into this, but, Just No.
My friend’s parents let her borrow theirs when she has something to haul. It has a stick, and is awesome.
