@Novaload: I have been 2 feet away from one when it was still in service... it broke down .. and they had to hide it and service it ad my dad's AF Base.. I still remember today.. it was the coolest plane i have ever seen.. It smelled so weird.... They had to have 2 454 Vette engines to start it up.. it was crazy..

I will never forget the day i saw one up close while it was still in service... I was a kid and my Dad was in the AF.. coolest plane ever... I takes 2 454 Vette engines to start up.... They did a fly over after. sweet

everytime i see the Caddy Sixteen I am mad that one of the greatest Concept Cars in the last 40 years was never made.
