But the spear through the face was all good?
But the spear through the face was all good?
There’s a Freedy Mercury one. WOW!
Best way to deal with that is to re-watch the Rick and Morty episode about it ;)
Initiate countdown to the nuclear apologists arriving who will remind you that all of these bad things are just crazy little one-off’s that should be ignored.
Re: Jay Garrick.
I’m not at all saying it’s bad, it’s great even - especially the lighting and detail on Chris Evans’s face, Proportionally though it’s way off. Look at how tiny his head is and how insanely broad his chest is.
SuperGirl...or to give it its full title...” “SUPERman? nah you just missed him...he was flying and laser eyeing and making mini supermen fly out of his fingers and shit....it was awesome!..I cant believe you missed it GIRL”
Yeah. His torso is definitely throwing me off. It’s like it appears weirdly wide compared to everything else (Granted I realize it’s contorted because of the kick, but I think that’s what’s not helping, like you said)
Yeah, the whole thing is definitely strange to look at, almost as if certain parts were cut & pasted from other works.
Could be worse...
For me it’s the torso. It all sort of reads together, and it doesn’t help that his leg blends into the overall form. It results in his head standing out more than it should.
It’s a pretty evocative image, but nothing about Cap’s anatomy makes any sense.
Last nights episode was really fantastic. It felt like the writers finally got a handle on the new setting. I do agree we need more Pam and Cheryl. But also more Krieger. Always more Krieger.
I'll go you one further. Here is my viewing order. 1) Any DS9 episode after Season 1. 2) Any DS9 Episode from Season 1 3) Any TNG from 3rd Season 4) Any Enterprise 5) Any Voyager 6) Any TOS (Sorry, but they just don't fucking hold up. They are to be loved and not criticized.) 7) TNG Season 1 8) Undergoing a vasectomy…
Enterprise was way better than Voyager and the first two seasons of TNG. Yup I said it.
They clearly have a love-hate relationship with ST. They want the money but seem to give no damns about the quality of the product or the fans.
To be fair, they did go to the trouble of finding some very promising fan productions and shutting them down. So there’s that.
I’m continually shocked on just how badly Paramount has dropped the ball with Star Trek’s 50th anniversary, especially compared to the BBC and their Big Science Fiction show’s 50th anniversary a couple of years ago.
Yes, except in this specific situation, when CBS and Paramount split up, CBS got TV rights and Paramount movie rights.
