Thanks! Glad I could help out!
I love SF3. It’s easily my favorite Street Fighter game to date. You’re right on point about the game being great even when parrying isn’t used, too. When I first started playing SFIII I was pretty intimidated by the risk inherent to parrying, and since there wasn’t a console version I could practice on in the safety…
Focus attacks offer their own unique strategic opportunities, and it definitely fit in with Capcom’s desire to bring back SFII fans at the time in that it was much easier and provided clearer feedback than SFIII’s parry.
Thank you! I’m glad I could help you out. I went into this knowing they were different, but not by how much. When I started pulling videos and getting deeper into it I realized how much more lenient parrying has become over time.
It’s almost counter-intuitive in a way, but that’s also what makes it so great. Even fifteen years later, successfully doing it feels like this cool little achievement.
It gets your heart rate going, doesn’t it?

Thanks!
Hey, here’s video of Goku’s transformation for those interested:
I couldn’t agree more. It still feels like a game that’s just hard to digest. I was hyped for it, then the demo effectively destroyed that hype. I’ll probably never try it again.
I was gonna say. I remember that article!
Maybe I’m high, but I don’t see a gamepad pic anywhere on the page.
What?
The site is up for me, but no new amiibos are listed.
I definitely think European culture has been over-explored in the AC series. Fans have been asking for something different for a long time. And while I think Victory will be exciting, I’d love to see some Eastern influence on the series.
Yakitate Japan! is excellent. Watched it years ago and it was hilarious.
Man, I was just wondering when Chronicles would release a few days ago. It looks like Ubisoft has been putting the time to good use. If I had one complaint, it’s that I’d love to see one of these three locales in a full-fledged AC title, instead of just a spinoff.
It's been three weeks since I first played through the demo for Final Fantasy XV, a video game about what will happen to One Direction now that Zayn's gone. So I've had plenty of time to digest.
I want to both agree with you and disagree with you. As a gamer, I understand that exclusives are certainly bad for us—ideally you could play whatever you want on whatever platform you want. As a realist, I feel exclusives are healthy, they keep each of the Big Three's respective lines of business in good shape and…
