We all have to work together to help drive these numbers down again.

I’m here for the BRZ Wilderness package.

Why do these assholes all look like thumbs?

I’m not condoning this behavior in any way, once they decide not to pursue charges, they should not be able to keep anything they seize from you.

I still don’t know how this isn’t universally interpreted as an infringement on the 4th amendment. It’s exactly what it was written for, to protect against this kind of thing.

It’s rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive!

Yea and an inlet and downpipe won’t work that magic.

Why is this literally every single boomer conversation at most classic car shows?

This guy gets it. I live in Reno, so every year we get Hot August Nights and every summer weekend is some classic car show. They all say “ All years welcome” or  “1979 and earlier, any make” but I know if I show up in my 79 BMW I’m going to be side eyed, ignored or outright mocked. Not to mention, like you said, it’s

I mentioned this in the thread as well - but I can’t agree with the GTI being on that list. The only argument against it, really, is that it’s a jack of all trades and a master of none. But that’s literally its entire purpose - a practical 2 or 4 door hatch with more performance than you’d get in a Golf.

Old boomers hold them to a level that makes them seem like they’re street legal top fuel dragsters, and they are absolutely not. A big 400+ cubic inch V8 that makes an advertised 350+ horsepower until you realize that was measured without and accessories or even a transmission hooked up. Then add a 3 speed auto or 4

I don’t get the style of answer where the ‘overrated’ is based on how cars 50 years later are better.

Supra Mk4 was over rated before The F&F movies.

Same thing with snow skiing.

They base it on replacement value. I had a payout higher than what I paid for a Civic Si that a pickup drive slammed into, because the Civic Si depreciation rates they were using had it being worth much closer to new MSRP and I had paid under invoice for the car.

He’s going to be real disappointed when they base his value on MSRP.

Every track day, when I tell myself “OK just one last run” I park the car. It tells me my brain is no longer functional enough to control a high speed vehicle.

He sold it to his insurance company.

“They don’t build them like they used to.”

A coupon? This isn’t fucking Food Lion. And “administrative error” is corporate speak for, “a former employee totally fucked you over, but we are trying to win your good graces again”....
