I did a track day there in August. Sensory overload nails it - you’re trying to drive as hard as you can, while also watching for cars in mirrors and in front of you. It’s so much information to process at once, while you’re feeling g-forces similar to a roller coaster, which you are controlling.

Nope. I was just there in August. If there is a need to slow or stop the track, there are flag wavers stationed every couple of corners who will wave yellow or red flags. They’re hard to miss because the walls of the track are pretty much right up on the track, so the flag is literally hanging over the barrier as it’s

I do not understand why so many MAGA men have the meat head/goatee/wraparound mirrored sunglasses look. All of them.

Didn’t experience this a month ago when I was there at all to be honest. We were cruising at 110 to 120 and the left 2 lanes were only the fastest moving cars.

No it isn’t. All our rental spec cars in Germany with like 130-160 HP were plenty capable of cruising at 110-120 MPH. This is the same horsepower as my 1995 Camry V6 which also hit 110 plus with no problem and it only had 4 gears.

This and the other elephant in the room with wide EV adoption - it’s still completely infeasible unless you live in a house with a garage, or at a bare minimum, a driveway.

I don’t understand why anyone is a lifetime customer of any car make that decided a dozen people dying was preferable to changing a 50 cent ignition switch to one that didn’t cause a car to cut off under operation. Yeah, that company really values its customers.

Totally agree. The only reason I wouldn’t want a parking brake to come on when my car is off is because I was just hooning the shit out of it and the brake pads and rotor are still very hot.

Especially when the average car sold now does 0-60 in like 7-8 seconds. Having a car that is ~33% slower than the average vehicle is a problem. Not a huge problem, but something you’re going to have consistently deal with and plan around. Annoying.

GAA spreads lead all over the immediate vicinity of the airports the hobby uses. Facts. Wild how you guys think aerosolized lead just disappears into space or something. It doesn’t. It ends up on the ground.

Picks winners and losers the same way we’ve been subsidizing the farm industry for tens of billions of dollars since forever? Or how we bail out the banking industry, auto industry, etc. while telling individuals they should have planned personal finance better?

Ex-Parrot isn’t going to let “measurements” and “facts” get in the way of his false narrative that his bougie rich boy hobby has consequences. He’d rather rant about BIG GUBMENT or something.

Lmao bro a study was just done this year that showed the amount of blood concentration, at least in some airport zones, is INDEED significantly higher than average.

the Aviator came about during a period of time when Ford really didn’t know what to do with Lincoln.

Honestly VW reliability on the MQB platform vehicle is fine. They are dead ass simple as far as the usual wear and tear bits go and don’t have any significant problem areas. All the parts are shared with millions of other VW group cars on that platform and have widespread aftermarket options for replacements that are

Also, in order to buy a house or any real estate, all that cash would eventually have to be deposited and go through banks. You can’t just push a wheelbarrow of $100 bills to an open house and buy the property.

And let me first say that AF is complete bullshit and the money shouldn’t have been taken at all.

That’s a very weird take to have considering the engine is 100% Subie. Toyota doesn’t make boxer engines.
