Samsung Odyssey+ was $229 yesterday and may still be that price. That headset was by far the best first gen headset. You do not need a $500 or $1000 headset. The Oculus rift will probably be $300 later this week and that headset is very good value/quality.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment that this decision is likely backed by the need to continue generating good business prospects with China, the hypocrisy from some people here is astounding.
