I agree with you that it makes poor fiscal sense to drop a sizable chunk of change on a car that’s got a long way to go on its downward spiral. Still, I think that at $24K, these cars do offer a unique proposition. The ELR is pretty good looking and it’s got all that cool tech.
And it’s still looking like my original pixel is a more desirable phone. Gee, it’s almost like these new phones are missing something....

Some sort of electronic ignition system has to be high on the list, especially given the effed-up nature of the current setup. Find a good Pertronix kit or something that clears out all the Brass Age works. It’ll start easier, run cleaner, all kinds of good stuff.
