Which ones did Stover write?

His novelization of Attack of the Clones was so rough to read. The only one worse than that was the Sith novelization. Gah, that was such a boring slog.

I’ll have to take your word, I’m not a fantasy person at all. I’ve gone back on some stuff like that though, and had the same result.

Ha ha! Yeah, I’m sure the $$$’s were perfect from Lucasfilms.

Yeah, for all the creativity and vision he has, he’s better when there’s a filter between him and the finished product.

I definitely can’t hold it against any of the authors. Chewie and Anakin Solo’s deaths are blatant evidence to that.

I’m not really in sci-fi just really Star Wars. So, I knew they were all supposed to be high profile authors, but none of their work really reflected that.

Which when I mentioned how bad that book was to my fantasy friends, they gaped because they regarded R.A. Salvatore has this literary master. Then again, writing your own material versus writing within the parameters of Lucasfilms is probably a major handicap.

Which is odd, since the original reason stated after Vector Prime released, was they went to Lucas and asked which one they could kill off. Chewie was the only one he allowed.

I will read this later, but comment now. I remember coming over to iO9 when it first started. The articles kept popping up so I’d click on them, and then I finally starting engaging the comments section.

Talk about way off the mark. It was the 2001 edition, because my brother just responded to the link about 09 being not great.

Pretty exciting to see. My brother had a Bulitt edition they came out with in like 05 or 06. I don’t exactly remember which year. My color is green so I was really into it.

I’m as annoyed at Ford for this oversight as I am with Nintendo giving us lackluster anniversary years with their key franchises.

I’ve recently started watching The Twilight Zone on Netflix. I’ve seen episodes in the past, but wanted to go through the whole series, and this has been perfect for that.

Need to add Star Wars Episode VIII...What?! I kid, I kid! It’s great to read another one of your articles.

Also, in ANH, Han was able to track the pursuing Star Destroyers and knew they had lost them.

I’ll make another post when I get a chance, probably after a second or third viewing.

I was 19, and just finished semester two of college, and went FIVE TIMES to the theater to see The Phantom Menace. When they had a charity re-release later that December, I skipped class, and went again even though I was sick.

It’s crazy how the world works outside our respective cities. I was born and raised here in Huntsville, and it just takes a short trip out of the limits to hit the people you just described.

If it is a gas giant it’s as stable as a rocky planet. It has an upper atmosphere, and we know it’s oxygenated enough to support people outside. I think TIEs are a strong example of how advanced the Star Wars universe really is.
