No great loss on the cancellation of the most recent Top Gear America.  I am sure they are all swell guys but the chemistry just wasn’t there in my opinion.  Hope the new version is great.

Now that it’s post-race, I kind of agree with you. I do think Vettel is an excellent driver and his mistakes are way overblown, but this does seem to be a season that will tell quite a bit about where he’s at.

He made his own luck getting around Vettel. He freely admitted to being lucky with respect to Leclerc’s mechanical.

This is the second time Vettel gets a younger teammate that seemed to immediately outshine him (time will tell). Its quite possible he just hates the turbo cars.

Grosjean got penalized 3 spots for his blocking of Norris. That moves him down below Ricciardo who gets 10th, even if he didn’t make Q3 

I’m not surprised by Leclerc’s position, he runs well at this track and shows a lot of promise. Hopefully he can take it to the podium, but he has some wiley older guys right behind.
