The Daily Mail is about as reputable as Breitbart...

I enjoy The Grand Tour, and both shows are scripted. I hope both continue. Competition = good.

Rimac certainly have a sense of humour about the whole Richard Hammond crash thing:

Nice to see ASBO orange making a return. Also, the UK price will be the otr price, including all taxes.

Hass= Avocado company.

It’s actually a speed bump.

Nice idea but I hope not. Being spread over multiple channels just means more subscription fees for the customers. I’d rather I only had to pay once for the lot.

Those figures are Europe wide. In the UK there are around 12m sky subscribers with around 40% subscribing to the sports channels. The 20m figure includes Sky Italia and a few other European territories (and not all have sports subscriptions).

Sky, no question. The BBC did a lot to put it on the map, but Sky raised it another level or two. They invested heavily by giving F1 it’s own channel all year round.

The real gem is the broadcasters, Brundle, Crofty and Ted seem to get access to parts of the F1 circus that no-one else gets near.

Alanis, can you find out if we will get access to Sky’s full F1 prerace and post race shows, or will they just cut to the feed at the start of the race. As someone who may or may not have accessed SkyF1 for their prerace content before, I am interested to know if we are going to be included in it.

The Brits have already had two entertainment platforms to tell us how bad we are at all things:

For the Brits, which is better, BBC or Sky?

That was a fucking great episode.

Yes, and just because someone is funny when interacting with their friends in an natural setting does not mean they’re a good writer.

2 million+ is a good audience for BBC2 these days and would make it one of the most popular shows. Couple that with iPlayer and PVR viewing my guess is that it would be closer to 2.5-3 million. It’s also sold in more countries than ever.

Back with your bollocks again. Actual broadcast viewing figures are less relevant than ever. People watch when they want, not when it’s broadcast.

No the fuck you don’t, you love to piss on anything that isn’t the old trio.

She specifically said that she had no training as a stunt driver. Which would indicate she wasn’t trained on the car. Had never been trained to drive under more than basic shooting conditions. And hadn’t been prepped for this specific shot. Most of the other shots of Thurman in the car from the film are clearly shot

It’s all over the place depending on budget, director, etc.

Having done stunt driving for film, and having done a stunt where I had to spin a Beetle into an intersection while doing a near miss with another vehicle, when a rear-engined VW loses traction, everything that happens, happens extremely fast. That scene took quite a few takes, because the car loved to rotate harder
