Agreed. It’s clear the car has the pace and the drivers are good, but it seems fragile. I’m guessing the problem is something that Haas has designed because the Ferrari PU is looking decently reliable this season.

I’m looking forward to seeing the Haas boys in a race where they can actually qualify. That was some great racing from both of them today.

U wut mate?

Illiteracy is also wrong and yet you just keep typing.

Ah, see, there’s the difference. I like cars. Hence why I’m on a car blog. My least favorite episodes with the old team were when they did slapstick and fake fights, instead of dealing with cars.

Chasing supercars on the Nürburgring with a hot hatch, and overtaking them, counts as boring?

1. You really think IMDB ratings are a good way of seeing if something is good or bad?

2. Agree - although I would put a lot of this loss down to last year with Evan’s. It might take a while, but I’m sure it can rise again.

Bland, predictable, boring... but better than last season for sure.

havent seen a single episode yet... i keep reminding myself when its on... and then not watching it... i think between last season and the grand tour i just burnt out on it all

Not a fan of the new celebrity format but otherwise I love it. Whoever says the first season of Grand Tour was better is lying to themselves.

got none of those mate.. i’m in the netherlands.. but thanks for the info :)

BTCC season opener this weekend too!

KMag, well I like the kid so I’ll make excuses for everything but his initial impact, if you saw the amount of CF his and Ericson’ car’s shed in that smackup you’d actually think they might be DSQ’d for being underweight if they had finished the race.

They stated that the cars are under 11% more full throttle application this year. Some engines were bound to go bust. RoGro grabbed 6th for quali. The car has reasonable pace.

I think they are doing great for being their second year.

I wasn’t even being that nuanced with my Clarkson example. I’m just saying that while Clarkson’s action—punching someone in the face—was definitively wrong from an ethical standpoint, leaving Wheeler Dealers or staying on it is not wrong. And even Clarkson didn’t deserve death threats for that; that is just immature

Australia is the gauntlet that gives you your real correlation to winter testing performance

A bit odd for the engine to let go so early in the season. No details released, of course. I wonder if it’s a freak failure, the fact they don’t design and manufacture the chassis and engine in-house (integration, packaging and cooling issues) or they got B-spec parts (being a customer team).

Haas.

Only 1 of 6 Ferrari engines died on the weekend, I think it was just bad luck.
