He’s not British born.
I think people watched Evans’ first show out of curiosity. Ratings under his leadership dipped precipitously after that. I predict a more level trend with the current series, with perhaps an increase if word gets out that this show is actually worth watching.
It’s probably too early to call it a flop. Last season drove off a lot of viewers, so it’ll take some time to see if they come back now that Evans is gone. For instance, I didn’t even realize the new season had started until I read this article.
Who’s got a what now?!
Most people now watch on demand. Early viewing figures do not include either on demand or those that watched live via the iPlayer.
PlayStation, XBox, whatever. I like them both and hope they both succeed to give me more entertainment options.
But at least we’re finding out about this a week before it is broadcast here in the states. So there is that.
Okay little man. Sure......
You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, but maybe you could elaborate on what exactly you found to be boring. Because at this point it sounds more like you have a bit of a crush on 3 old men and no one else will do.
You have just described the Grand Tour. Anything other than the studio segment looked brilliant.
Of course it was gonna suck; most people expected it to suck.
What?
Here’s hoping this develops into a wonderful new era of Top Gear. It’s a good thing if they succeed and I’m a HUGE fan of The Grand Tour. It would be wonderful to have TWO excellent motoring shows.
Didn’t the BBC cancel Top Gear when the three presenters left to Amazon?
If English wasn’t my first language I don’t know if I would try so hard and post so many things on an English language website. Good for you.
WTF are you even trying to say?
You need to stop posting things mate. Please.

How in the fuck is this nonsensical babble the first comment on here?
