I like this vein of Americanism/Britishism... I could agree that Top Gear has a highly “British” feel to it, will be interesting to find out if they’re bringing that along.

Praise be!

Those are good points even beyond what I was thinking. As Brits, TG could go places (think the Middle East special, for example) where clearly Americans couldn’t. AFAIK the access TGT might have to locations would only ever be a subset of whatever the BBC could manage.

I would ask them if they plan to explore some of the American automotive culture or are they going to be predominately European in focus.

In the past, TG had access to certain things because it was BBC/”British”. Does TGT get perceived as “American” and therefore have less/different access to locations, subject matter, or even actual manufacturers?

Yes, exactly like Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black, Man in the High Tower, House of Cards, Narcos, Master of None, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Sense8..... wait... that’s right... this ISN’T the 20th century anymore, is it?

it’s actually pretty refreshing to have a “non-celeb” do such a big/reknown project. He’s talented so what’s the problem.

I watched this yesterday. Does anyone else feel like Chris Harris feels a little neutered since he started reviewing stuff with Top Gear? I feel like he’s not quite as comfortable or out there with what he wants to say, and a lot of what made his videos great seems subdued. Maybe it’s just my imagination, but Chris

did you submit much existing content? or just a proposal?

Possibly the bit about the funeral ongoing at the same time.

Im surprised he asked for permission and didn’t just call in an airstrike

Did anyone report seeing a Hilux in the area?

Ah, now I see. You are a bot, a comment script. The script was probably originally written in Mexican and machine translated after the Univision acquisition, hence the structural and communication issues.

I have difficulty understanding non-standard English. What are you on about?

It took me at least 3 minutes of reading and head scratching to understand the gist of what you are trying to say.

Dude I get where you’re coming from and I totally agree. Well said.

He’s said similar thing about the Type 25 as well. There is something to be said about a man who summited what many consider the greatest challenge as an automotive engineer, only to turn around and go “Hmmm...actually building shit for people to use is quite difficult. Let’s see how I do” and doing some really cool

Sounds like online forum with (perhaps) some original content like articles written by the trio... with which to spark interaction (endless forum arguments).
