Too bad then GM didn't continued the El Camino based on the 1991-96 Caprice like this one at [www.elcaminocentral.com]

Let's also mention the following ones

Video of the day! :-)

Maybe we could have a car designed by the French but with an American engine. There was a precedent with the Facel-Vega. Picture from [www.forum-auto.com]

Ford tried it in the early 1950s in France with the Comete. Interesting to mention then it was bodied by Facel (who created later the Facel-Vega). Simca inherited briefly the Comete (while the Vedette got a longer lifespan) after they acquired the French Ford activities in 1955 [www.conceptcarz.com]

+1, maybe they could keep the Ecololine name for some model/trim/package group like the Ranger name was for the F-pick-ups and Ranchero like this 1975 model [www.ford-trucks.com] and Explorer who was first used in the F-150 too like this 1985 model.

+1 althought in Mexico, Chevy and Ford got smaller Tornado and Courier pick-ups. [jalopnik.com]

Comment of the day! :-)

We could wonder how the Pacer would had done if it was originally launched with the rotary engine then GM planned? (Also if the Pacer was lighter to accept an I4 or if they didn't go with the Pacer to reskin the Hornet and Gremlin more earlier, there a Gremlin concept-car showed in 1974 who predicted the coming of the

Interesting trivia, there a Pacer wagon who did a cameo in Wayne's World II having the same color then the one from the ad (not the same model year however). Picture from [imcdb.org]

And here some models then Hyundai inherited from Mitsu like the Mitsubishi Chariot aka Expo in the US/Dodge Colt Vista soldiered a couple of years longer as the Hyundai Santamo. The Montero/Pajero Gen-I (aka Dodge Raider) was also built under licence as the Hyundai Galloper.

One guy nicknamed Bobfr at [www.eclectablog.com] resumed the situation very well about the Huffington Post then I decided to quote:

Those regular Regal would had been a perfect sleeper if we swap a LS1 engine under the hood or a turbo 3.8L and keeping the same basic exterior appearance (not turn it into a T-Type/Grand National/GNX).

Good suggestion, let's also add to the list some rare surviving H-body Vega who could be a candidate for a 2.2 turbo.

I wonder if Audi might plan a Canadian version of this ad showing the crumbling Champlain bridge and the Turcot interchange both located in Montreal?

It look like lots of roads we have in Quebec!

Looks like completely forgot to mention this ad of the 2005 Corvette just aired briefly after being retired by the request of some groups.
