There is one guy who did a trip from Buenos Aires to Alaska with a Nova, I spotted some pics on this Spanish site
@stephdumas: The Citroen 2CV was used as an escape vehicule for James Bond on "For your Eyes Only".
We see James Bond in movie car chase driving an Aston-Martin, Lotus, BMW but in "On Her Majesty's Secret service", he drived a Mercury Cougar [www.car-collector.net]
@stephdumas: Looks like the 1968-70 Belvedere/Satellite seems to be underrated (except for the universe of Adam-12 first seasons) and live under the shadows of the big Fury/Polara/Monaco. Here another 1969 Belvedere used by Charles Bronson in the Stone Killer.
@stephdumas: And speaking of The Duke in McQ, he drived a 1969 Plymouth Belvedere/Satellite in this car chase.
John Wayne did some brief stunts as a cop driving a Pontiac Firebird in "McQ".
@CrabSpirits: +1, Civics should be more used for various stunt including some "freeway launch ramp" to fly in the sky like that Pinto wagon in the Blues Brothers ;-)
@Elhigh: Actually, that convertible was a 1948 Ford, there a screenshot on IMCDB [www.imcdb.org]
At least, that guy didn't meet Dirty Harry ;-)
@rt.pittman: Speaking of the Hudson Jet, It could be interesting to know what if they used the original design instead of the shrunked lookalike '52 Ford, if things could had been different? Ate Up with Motor posted a story about it [ateupwithmotor.com]
Speaking of training videos/educationnal videos, here a classic one from Chris Rock.
@balls to the wall: Good question and I wonder if he saw that guy too?
@duurtlang: LOL :-D Good one.
Poor Camaro, on a positive side, the woman didn't make the same stunt as that Camry driver [jalopnik.com]
@PotbellyJoe - Road Warrior, Turned Record Setter among 113,410 others: Doubtful then it might encourage small children to try driving a Camry or a Accord, lol. I would had change the end a bit, the little kid wake up and saw with disseapointment, his dad's Camry/Accord. ;-)
@jllevy123: As long as you don't get your Subaru towed like this one featured on Autoblog ;-) [www.autoblog.com]
@Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: Or maybe some customers don't drive cars like Bill Hickman, stuntman known for his work on Bullitt, French Connection, the Seven-Ups. ;-) [en.wikipedia.org]
