@tonyola: Speaking of Lee Trevino, I spotted this old Dodge ad where he was with "sheriff" Joe Higgins.

@PipeSmokingVolvoDriver: +1 and there other "blood alleys" where some of them are converted into divided highways like:

The worst car, if I go in term of design I'll go with the Honda Crosstour and its relative the Acura ZDX. The Honda designer should complained about the quality of the weed they smoke when they design the car, lol.

@stephdumas: Another '59 Custom/Fairlane (or Galaxie) cameo appearance in an episode of Get Smart, season 3 titled "Don't look back" at 1:37 in this clip.

@Panhardrod: A '59 Galaxie also did a cameo at 2:20 in this clip of the band Pet Shop Boys in this cover of U2's "Where the streets have no name."

And we're still far away from beaming teleportation like Star Trek. On the other hand, it might have some disadvantages as showed in this Spaceballs clip at 4:40 [www.myspace.com]

Little trivia here, the 1959 Ford was awarded the Gold medal for its styling at the Brussels world fair [auto.howstuffworks.com] Some said it was more tasteful in design then the 1959 Chevrolet. Meanwhile Plymouth (as well as Dodge) was on its last year to use the body-on-frame as well as the old six engine and

@tonyola: Thanks for the infos, as for the Chevelle 2-door wagon, it's ironic to see some collectors searching for them and even some folks who have some fun to customize and create some "what if" with the 1966-67 models like that 1966 Chevelle 2-door wagon (picture founded at [www.chevelles.com] )

@tonyola: I see, ironic to see the Ranchero who was based on the 2-door wagon and the sedan delivery, continuing to soldier. More strange then Ford bring back a 2-door wagon when the Pinto arrived.

I guess it might explain why Ford dropped the 2-door wagon from the Falcon lineup in 1966 if they decided to go ahead with a Mustang wagon.

@ian.moore1: But what if Toyota continue its slope to the point of being in a very precarious situation? (In Europe, Hyundai sales are now higher then Toyota [www.autoblog.com] )

@Jesda: We can also add the Chevy Vega (1971) & Citation(1980), Dodge Aspen/Plymouth Volare (1976) and the Toyota Camry (2007).

I spotted a link about the top 10 tips for water crossings like adding a snorkel [jeep.off-road.com]

@KeyserSöze: +1, it should had dropped on a old Accord or a old Camry ;-)

@Isetta: Yes, it had been played mainly in syndication in the early 1970s as well as once on SciFi, the DVD are available on Amazon.com

@Doc_V: You're welcome :-)

Does Kowaltski would like the M1 to go to a "Vanishing Point"? ;-)
