    Little trivia here, the 1959 Ford was awarded the Gold medal for its styling at the Brussels world fair [auto.howstuffworks.com] Some said it was more tasteful in design then the 1959 Chevrolet.     @tonyola: Thanks for the infos, as for the Chevelle 2-door wagon, it's ironic to see some collectors searching for them and even some folks who have some fun to customize and create some "what if" with the 1966-67 models like that 1966 Chevelle 2-door wagon (picture founded at [www.chevelles.com] )

    @tonyola: I see, ironic to see the Ranchero who was based on the 2-door wagon and the sedan delivery, continuing to soldier. More strange then Ford bring back a 2-door wagon when the Pinto arrived.

    I guess it might explain why Ford dropped the 2-door wagon from the Falcon lineup in 1966 if they decided to go ahead with a Mustang wagon.
