Maybe. Maybe HYDRA was experimenting on the Kree but was unaware of how Fury utilized it?
Yeah, and I saw an brief snippet from Clark where he says that now they're like brother and sister, with the shared DNA. Clark could've just been speculating, though, since all the actors claim they know nothing in advance.
I think Hand has probably has her own team (similar to Coulson) the whole time because she knew SHIELD was rotten. She has the same level of arrogance and cajones as Fury. Ward might be one of hers, part of H.A.M.M.E.R.
Or Ward and his brothers are all Winter Soldiered-up.
I kind of wonder if she's manipulating him. Knowingly or not.
Mantis, the Celestial Madonna. Also, given Wheedon's penchant for female characters that are the universe's savior, seems a bit hard for him to resist!
They are field ops, not pencil pushers. SHIELD needs pencil pushers!
Or maybe Skye will turn out to be more manipulative than we all thought? Based on this episode, it seems they are playing a long game.
Skye doesn't do stuff like that. She is shinyhappy.
Or, he's confused because he is in love with her (eyeroll) but has been mind controlled into acting against those impulses.
People here were fairly outraged by it. They infiltrated a secret SHIELD facility (in hindsight, probably HYDRA) and shot and killed the two agents tasked with defending it.
Those lips better turn out to have superpowers. Those two have no chemistry. She has more chems with the nerd or Coulson.
Or just that he wants to kill Garrett, too. Maybe he is Baron Zemo's kid?
The character certainly felt darker and was more complex for sure. Of course, if there is a chance to bring in Spider-people and not violate legal rights…
Yeah, I agree, it would be a stretch either way. They are kind of bland, the writers. She will probably just be an original character.
I do agree that it's not a good sign that they are unwilling to resolve some of their own mysteries outside of the scope of the movies. Perhaps the Kree juice will be that? But I do agree with you about the handling of Centipede and feeling like its waiting around to hold onto movie coat tails.
It's time to see Coulson lose it a bit more. They've kind of had him dancing on the edge, but this is quite a stack of betrayal pancakes!
Well, they kill people like that all the time. Remember the guys at the Guest House?
Also, I did see a recent preview of an Secret Avengers comic where Natasha and Jessica were hanging out, and I felt that Jessica read suspiciously a lot like Skye.
