This is mind-boggling. I guarantee you that no-one with power gives enough of a fuck about Brand to frame him for anything. He’s actually less relevant to public life than ever before, thanks to his alt-right grifter reinvention.

It’s extremely common for friends/family of a convicted defendant to write letters for a packet reviewed by the judge ahead of sentencing. Judges have broad sentencing guidelines so that they can use discretion on a case by case basis, and those packets fall under that practice.
