Hey there- anxiety and depression over here. Therapy has helped more than ANYTHING but I also recommend Pema Chodran's book "When things fall apart", as well as her CDs - you might find some of her stuff on YouTube? She's a Buddhist, and her approach really helped me.

I wish I knew! We left in 06, and thought we would come back whenever we wanted, but the jobs just aren't there. The people I know therework in website dev and marketing/advertising or they are chefs and makers of now-artisan cocktails or they are teachers who are underpaid and always overworked.

The thing that killed her voice was the surgery to remove the nodes. It was a laser surgery and she developed scar tissue.
