Eloise looked like she was having a Very Bad Day in that scene. She’s pregnant, and that can put someone on a hair-trigger. I also have my personal head canon that there was a triangle going on with Widmore & Richard, and that was why Richard was so concerned to get Ellie out of there. In any event, Eloise is a pretty

Maps of the Island vary, but some of them do show other small islands clustered around the main ones. The most common fan question re: these smaller islands is, “Did they move when the Island did?” (Of course.) These small adjacent islands are where I would expect much of the larger sea mammals would go, simply

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the question of animals on the Island addressed. Three points interest me: the nature of the protector and animals; whether migratory animals are able to leave the Island, and finally, the “pregnancy problem” and animals.

>>In The Lie, I noticed that when Jack was trying to get the rest of the group to agree to lie, and Hurley argued against it, Jack once again referenced the possibility of Hurley being crazy, but this time, it didn’t set him off.

I tend to avoid the timey-wimey stuff in LOST, so I don’t know why the Island “skipped like a record” when Ben turned the wheel. Do you have the DVDs? It might be worth a look, to see if the direction is important. I don’t know how the Dharma Initiative would have controlled for that with the bears, though, unless

>>As you also pointed out, we can’t justify what she did.

Aw, I love a good Kate discussion, including the triangle.

Maybe I’m mis-remembering it, but I thought Ben left the Island so that he could take revenge on Widmore (and ultimately Penny) for Keamy killing Alex.

>>The three people looking for the cabin are Locke, Ben and Hurley. When none of them seem to have an idea of how to find it, they make camp and Locke has a dream about Horace, which gives him the clarity he needs.

>> If the Island moves seamlessly, that implies to me that Sawyer, Juliet and company don’t go back to 1974.

Yup, that scene about nails it.

Sorry I didn’t get to this sooner.

>>I feel like Jack is still shaken by Hurley’s decision to leave for the Barracks, and is considering that Locke had significant input in that decision.

Ah, “Eggtown.”

>>Does [Kate] trust Jack completely?

>>And the flash forward at the end of the first hour, combined with what we see in Confirmed Dead, really hits the theme hard that Hurley made a mistake in going with Locke.
