You could make the same argument with Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft with their respective consoles. You can’t put an app on any of those without certification and paying them their cut.

It makes more sense if you think that they didn’t file the injunction intending to win but instead filed it as a PR device. Their attorneys are some of the best, there’s no way they didn’t have this conversation.

They literally knew all of this when they decided to port their game to iOS. They did not have to make this product. They chose to make a product for a system which had rules of which they were fully aware. You don’t get to do that and then complain that you don’t like the rules.

For me at least, games sell consoles. I bought an original Xbox for KotOR, a 360 for Dead Rising, a PS3 for Demon’s Souls and a PS4 for Bloodborne. MS never gave me a reason to own an Xbox One and they aren’t giving me any reasons to own the Series X.

If they’re holding it this close to the vest likely there will never be legal discovery. They’ll settle. The only reason they would hold onto it this tightly is if it makes them look bad as well.

I would truly prefer it if Biden just stepped out of the race. We’ve got to have a better option and he’s not locked in yet.
