Uhhm... have you done group work in school? I’d say in at least 1/3 cases, you have one guy doing the bulk of the work and at least one guy slacking off completely. Imagine the whole system would work that way... :(

I guess the reason is simply that they have always been a small number of people with their own, weird religion that refused to assimilate into the larger cultures around them. what is percieved as weird can easily turn into “scary”.
