I recently read the first couple of pages on amazon and was immediatly turned off. I had the impression "That's what reading the script of Avatar must feel like, without being lulled in by the shiny visuals". I felt extremely annoyed by the über-clicheed military characters to which I was presented. Does it get better

I just had to look him up on wiki. Bradbury's still alive, and going to turn 90 on 22 august. But I fear he'll never get there. He'll die of a heartattack before from seeing this clip. But he'll die happily (and a bit surprised).

Prehistoric man is pure awesome. They should make this a TV show.

There we go again. A lot of scientific mambo-jambo, and in the end, nobody seems to have noticed you didn't even try to answer the central question. Sorry for me seeming rude, I normally enjoy your posts very much. But: "If time slows down near the event horizon of a black hole, how does anything ever fall in?"
