You can fit nearly anything you want in a JLU or JKU without the backseat in it. That thing is cavernous if you’re prepared.

I have a JK with a 3.5" lift and 35s. I’ve been on the trails with JT’s of all shapes and sizes, and they’re not great. Guys are pushing 37's and 40's just to clear stuff a JKU/JLU can waltz over with 33s.

It’s not a felony to own an automatic weapon. You can get class 3 licenses, or buy pre-ban autos without any problem.
