It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it.” - Douglas Adams

I really thought it was a reference to this video:

This was a pretty good dirtbag. That Hugh Grant interview was worth a watch. It’s pretty funny.

Ugh. Hand washing is a good strategy, soap is very effective at killing the corona virus. Although, screw those capitalist pigs!

MLK jr would have thanked them as people, not for their gender or race.  This is the opposite of being “progressive”.  What it is instead is reductive.

Yup, thank them for their lives staying shitty under Democratic rule, hahaha!!!

There’s a lot of bullshit we all love to tell ourselves and each other to pretend that physical appearance doesn’t matter and we’re above caring about such superficial things.

I think your kids will survive fat jokes. Stop being so PC.

Don’t say anything ever for fear that someone might get “TRIGGERED”>
Oh wait, dont not say anything because then your’e culturally appropriating mute people.
Only say what newspeak, I mean, progressives tell you is ok.
Orwell is doing about 3k RPM in his grave.

Yeah. If somebody’s dog got into my house and viciously killed my cat, what you have there is a dead dog, too.

I saw Lovitz and Dana Carvey live a few years back. At the time I identified them as a couple of cliché SNL has-beens, and expected a mediocre show with too many SNL skit references.

I mostly try to think about being unemployed.  That lights a fire under my ass.

This. Perform focused meditation by repeating to yourself “I like to eat. I like my family to eat.” over and over. It’s a great motivator.

I love her first album, and Lust for Life (the collab album), has a lot of good stuff. She’s more about songwriting and delivery. When I like her I love her, but some of the songs just don’t grab me - especially recent stuff.  When I discovered the first album I pretty much freaked out, however.  So I’ll always be

I can’t believe that having bills to pay and wanting food in the fridge is not enough motivation for most people. Said as someone who has been working from home for herself for the better part of a decade.

She can :) She’s just not a belter, and she is an alto and flips into falsetto in her upper range. Sorry I disagree with you in comments in a ton of articles, and I’m gonna disagree with you again today. Lol. All good.

If her middle name were not so ridiculously patrician sounding, people would not be able to mock her so hard.  Everyone lighten up on this woman for being born white!  She’s not the enemy.

Not so fun fact—Tapper went out with Monica Lewinsky once and managed to cash in with a pretty smarmy article in the City Paper once her name became public. Classy guy.

Is there a particular reason why you feel you have to refer to her by her full legal name rather than her stage name? Especially odd given that you refer to a male celebrity by his stage name in the same comment.
