Man, this show started out strong but then just became an Agenda vehicle for leftist sensibilities and the stories became weaker and weaker. (Kinda like Batwoman, except it was terrible from the start). You couldn’t tune in after a while without some social topic getting shoved down your throat.

Does the 4a no longer exist? It does?

This!

Agreed. Like Evans, she has an infectious level of optimism and determination that feels very authentic and is very fitting for her character. It’ll be sad to see her go.

She was incredibly well-cast.

Just because Ginsburg “wished” it doesn’t mean anything legally. Justices don’t name their own successors. The Rule of Law should dictate it, and Ginsburg’s “wish” to supersede those laws just shows how out of bounds most Justices tend to operate.

You sound like a very logical democrat.  Which means maybe you are in wrong party.

I’m early 40's, tech savvy, and pretty involved in life in general. I don’t have a Facebook account, and almost none of my guy friends seem too either. I’ve never quite gotten the draw, and most of them feel similarly.

I think it’s the irony of them being involved in a “social network” while not interacting socially with all of the humans physically around them that is so jarring to an observer, so no, I don’t think them sitting and listening to music or reading would have the same effect.

The problem isn’t Facebook. It really isn’t. We want to think the problem is Facebook because then we don’t have to examine our own lives, actions, and ideas. It’s easier to blame a tool. Facebook works because it ties into our own nature - our need to be validated and have our ideas reflected back to us, our need for

But wouldn’t Zuck consider how the poor influencers would make a living without real world work skills? They’d be reduced to taking a real job like the rest of us schlubs.

About 10 years ago I walked into the cafeteria of a call centre that I had been involved with setting up. Around 30 or 40 staff were sitting at the tables, every single one was looking at their phones. Not one person was speaking, even those sitting at the same table were silently engaged with the device in their

It really angers me that Biden was democrat’s choice to run against Trump. Why must we vote for the “lesser of two evils”. Why can’t the democrat’s field a candidate from the plethora of choices currently in their party who represent and speak for a much larger portion of their base. If you don’t want Trump to win,

I understand why it is the case because then they technically won’t be beholden to anyone if their job is secure but that was logical when people didn’t live to their 90s not in the current day.

This is a very interesting point that I hadn’t thought of before. It is kind of insane that there’s a job at the highest level of our government where people work until they die.

I get that the syrup might be better than just having a tequila-Dew-lime juice highball. But I also feel like having to wash a pan kind of defeats the spirit of this kind of drink, lol.

I’m bummed about it too; I loved the first Quest but will not be buying the Q2 due to the facebook restrictions. I look forward to see what the competition releases because I’ll be buying that.

I was pretty excited about Quest 2 until I read about the Facebook account requirement. From the Oculus support page:

I was looking at the first Quest for a large rollout in an education environment, where its zero setup and low-ish price made it a perfect fit, but now that they’re requiring Facebook account sign in that is completely off the table. I’m pretty disappointed.
