The drive-in near me closed in 2019. I can only imagine the kicking of themselves the owners have had over the last 2 years.

All of my botched DIY stories start with “I can do this myself,” and then continue with me telling the hardware store employee “No, thanks, I know what I’m looking for.”
The lemon cake is definitely real. It left the menu for a decade or so but returned in 2017 after some guy made a reddit post about it and generated some hype.
The link to Million Dollars, But... is broken. Should be https://store.roosterteeth.com/products/million-dollars-but-the-game (remove the 3 on the current link) ... and it’s currently on sale for $3!
Rewatching Home Alone last year, I was surprised at how little of the movie was actually the break-in. In my memory, ALL of the third act was the break-in (and injuries) but reality is just a few minutes.
Does anyone know of a site / tool that will let my guests vote for their favorite dishes? The last “traditional” Thanksgiving was 2019, so we’re rebuilding traditions this year (new home, new extended family coming, etc.).
You wouldn’t use a woodpecker in the logo?
Minor correction on Hidden Brain: It isn’t an NPR program any more. They spun off their own media company in 2019 and are independently produced.
No Roky Erickson? No thank you.

The Good Place. “Ok, so some lady goes to Heaven. How can this possible last more than a few episodes? Hard pass.” And then I started watching it after a few episodes had aired, fell in love, committed fully (listening to the podcast, contributing to the subreddit, etc.) ... Loved that show.
I haven’t had issues with accuracy, but I have had concerns about difficulty. Sometimes Waze will recommend a route that “saves” a minute or two on paper, but is needlessly complicated. Unprotected left turns, lefts that require waiting for a light, going through an area with extra turns or lights, etc. The practical…
ok
Race aside, slavery’s been an issue of dominance. It’s never been OK or acceptable, even though it’s a practice that had been in place for thousands of years.
Quite right - turns out half of my post is mistaken. But that’s Murphy’s Law, right? Just say something incorrect on the internet and someone will correct it.
The casting team definitely deserves recognition. They’ve somehow found dopplegangers for extremely unique real life characters who can (to a degree) also do impressions and wrestle.
Good catch! I watch it on Hulu, but would’ve *sworn* it was ABC (fits with Fresh Off the Boat, Goldbergs, etc.).
It’s better than it should be. The Rock is running for president in 2032 and speaking to Randall Park about lessons learned from his youth. The show is bookended with “modern” segments and the rest of the plot happens in one of 3 periods from young Rock’s life: elementary, middle and high school. Heavily includes his…
And watch *as many times as you want*. This isn’t a rental with a limited playback window.
