Seriously, I heart this reply 👏🏻

Left work early so I could weep in the privacy of my own home. Drove home listening to "Han Solo and the Princess" from Empire. All weekend I kept checking the news to learn if she'd been released from ICU, holding out hope this curse would end. F-ing 2016.

That is great to know, thank you for sharing. I read the news and one of my initial thoughts was, "They've got to allow her fur baby into the ICU."

"United Airlines says its crew reported Carrie as "unresponsive" when they landed."

"Overrated" and "self-centric" doesn't begin to describe/explain her.

"(but we won't get one - sad)"

Great review, thank you for sharing.

"The Exorcist" and "Bates Motel" have taught me to be careful of preconceived notions, both have at the very least met the expectations of their source material. Well done.

I'd actually like to see the Babylonian/Assyrian aspects of Pazuzu's backstory explored, or cults/ancient religions who are employed by the dark side — broadening the conspiracy theory from an historical perspective.

Maybe the Pope is involved in another faction (for lack of a better term), he seemed awfully scared by the goings on for a man who is the vicer of christ on earth — unlike Sister Bernadette, who showed no fear.

How to block a user:

Those who take vows of chastity have stronger-than-steel thighs by consistently working them unassisted.

Geena Davis genuinely creeped me out, the side long glance she gave her husband in the living room then the bedroom scene… I would not want to cross her. Also b/c she's Amazonian :-)

OMG I never made that connection but you are SO. RIGHT. ON.

The look on Sister Bernadette's face when Pazuzu walked in, vow or silence or not the actress perfectly conveyed "I know just what in the hell you are!" Wish there was some battle royale btwn the two of them, Sstr B was a bad ass.

The Babylonian demon Pazzuzu was cited in the book, mentioned in the first chapter. That's another element of the series I enjoy - like "Hannibal" the show runners/writers have kept in mind (most of) the elements of "The Exorcist" novel and some elements of the film(s).

Me, too! Was delighted to find there were two more episodes but thought for certain killing Chris was the finale… which has me looking forward to the crazy I'm about to press play on…

The book starts out with a Pazzuzu pendant discovered in a Babylonian archaeological site but I never finished reading it so I'm still curious why Pazzuzu is fixated on Regan/Angela.

No faith, was thinking in next when the congress hopefully transposes its majority as is typical.
