Wish James Horner was this creative. I adore the TWoK score but he originally used so much of that music in Wolfen then replayed it again in Aliens.

You just gave away the Shyamalan-esque surprise ending :-(

My brain would implode with fangrrl joy.

Second to Wrath of Khan, yes!

*Shhhh…..*

I would've sold a kidney to have been in attendance for this…

THIS!!

Anyone recognize the music that plays throughout the trailer? Because I must download and listen to the entire score immediately. It sounds like Jerry Goldsmith and Bear McCreary co-wrote this after enjoying the perfect Scotch whiskey while lounging in the study of a millennia-old secret society's 5-dimensional castle.

"And Cassie's baby could still end up being Jones's husband. You know, time travel and all."

I hope it's half as good as the previous live action series. Hard to imagine anyone else but PW playing The Tick. And Nestor Carbonell's Bat Manuel with his disco ring tone, his love/hate with Captain Liberty… and… OK, now I have to re-watch the series. Right. Now.

I was overjoyed to find AG available on Amazon Prime!

I loved MS's Jennifer-esque moments "tic-tok…tic…" and Jones going all Clint Eastwood on the scavengers. Best part IMO was Jones' line about "this was built based upon my husband, Whatsisname Jones's, work." — I heard that and thought, "Great, they're reminding us because he's apparently the witness, damn these

Thank you for the clarification! I read another review this morning which may also lead me to the theater this weekend. It contained a gif of McKinnon that was hilarious looking.

I'm fairly petty, so the "petty" and "resented" has me considering just staying home and re-watching Aliens for the gillinionth time instead. And thank you for this input, seriously, b/c I don't want to be bummed out by the aftermath.

One should always be excited about The Clash, then subsequently rock the Kasbah.

F-ing love this anecdote.

One more thing — does anyone else want to hear Jennifer declare, "A titan versus a titan!!" ???

I'm more concerned about the cameos and how they may impact my love for the original, if that makes sense. No desire to see any of the original cast let me down… more than Dan Akroyd already has. Over. And Over. And Over Again.

I saw her original video due to an article I read on AVC and now I'm reading on AVC that the Internet has gone all torches-and-pitchforks on her. Apparently I need a "trending" filter on my AV Club feed :-/

Then we'll watch the finale and shout, "We need the S2 premiere to understand!" Vicious circle…
