Yah it's too bad really. I wish there was a way to play ff7 as it was originally imagined, as a turn-based game, but there's no way for anyone to do that anymore. Very tragic

Nintendo can not do what it did in the 80's, when they had the market to themselves. In fact, keeping third parties under limits and tight control hurt them far more then it helped and one of the reasons when the PSOne arrived, that third parties were more then happy to shift their development focus to a newcomer.

Yeah this is going to be good. But really let's remember something, they never said it would be a switch port. And if I am not mistaken I thought it was shin megami is the main line on Nintendo, where as persona was a side story on Sony. Not really sure how people reached the conclusion that a switch port would happen…

To be honest I’m a bit disapointed because I expected a port too, but in hindsight it wouldn’t have made much sense.

After all they’d revealed Persona 5: The Royal hitting consoles next year as an “enhanced” edition of Persona 5.
So by that account it would have been illogical to reveal “Persona 5 S” as a Switch port…
