In new game plus you can just skip the town segments since everything you found the first time, even dialogue options, stay with you. 

I think it was said before that the townspeople hid within the castle before the battle started. I did talk to some of the town people after and the house I did burn down had a kid and a woman commenting in front about their burnt down house.

It was good not having to worry about permadeath the entire time. But I think they should release a DLC that has some form of permadeath just for extra challenge. By the end of that fight, It was just Avlora against Benedict, Frederica and Hughette...It was such a fun fight.

The first time I played this exact stage I got pushed back into a corner to the point where I had to hit a switch to help thin out the enemy ranks. I only used 1 switch but damn I felt bad about it for the rest of the game.

Anna (and another character you get later depending on your choices) are great for quick damage on targets that are alone. Love just sneaking in and just hitting an enemy with poison + slumber knife.

Just need to point out that just because the character your trying to sway has a third answer unlocked does not mean that is always the correct answer.

I think this is easier to get into then Tactics since you do not have to worry about permadeath and its easier to level characters who are behind.

Yea thats pretty much it. Its just a way to grind some levels and items in-between story battles since unlike Final Fantasy Tactics your not traveling from point to point with the chance of an random encounter.

I ended up taking vacation that week since it happen to line up perfectly with thanksgiving. Ill admit im a bit disappointed since I cant change my week off but at the end of the day its just a game. I would rather have a good game then a bad rushed game.
