@CamJN: I believe certain installers give the option to 'Install for this user only' or 'Install for all users.' Based on your selection, it may automatically create the Applications folder in the home directory if there isn't one there already.

@Jesse Scroggins: That is definitely where it's lacking, and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that this is one of the top reasons mobile phone video conferencing really hasn't gone mainstream (even though the technology has been around for awhile, as others point out).
