There are times when we need to step back and appreciate the fact half of this episode is about a mad scientist and his army of clones turning people into monsters on an alien planet, and the other half’s about a 19th Century sorcerer changing reality into a cartoon and being defeated through song.

Am I the teensiest bit disappointed they didn’t do a full animated episode despite knowing how logistically impossible that would be? Yes, of course. Was what we got still great? Yes, of course.
