I’m decidedly of the opinion that the first Hunger Games movie is easily the best of the series.  Yeah, the camerawork is less pretty, but it has the cleanest plot structure and the series hadn’t run out of ideas yet.  Catching Fire’s “tournament of champions” concept mostly just felt like an excuse to do all the

I love Battle Royale and it’s definitely an original but it’s also not without influences of its own. The thing that immediately comes to mind are “last one standing” or king of the hill multiplayer modes that were popular in games back then like Quake or Unreal. But I’m sure if you start digging you could find other

I mean it is.  That's not even debatable.  It makes a morally dubious man a hero and does the whole PTSD thing on someone who never mentioned experiencing it.  Who bragged about killing black people he didn't even kill.  So I guess the answer is probably now and probably next week for good measure.  I'll end with

While I was watching this, I couldn’t shake this feeling about how fluffy and inconsequential the ep was, and how the villain was sort of pointless and even didn’t really turn out to be much of a villain...

Hey now, you’re leaving out all kinds of important characterization such as:

You are thinking of one of Cisco’s other, worser, love interests

Those weren’t my words, and it’s not about her gender. I guess it’s not that she seems ‘fake smart’, it’s that she seems conceited and narcissistic about her smarts. Danica McKellar is a peer of Mayim Bialik in many ways - child actor who left the biz to get an education and then returned. I don’t get the same vibe

This was a nice sendoff for Carlos & Cisco. I will miss that character.

As I understand it none of the guest hosts have been given the authority to rule on an answer (“question”) themselves (something Alex was allowed to do). They all have to wait for a producer’s determination. I suspect that to some degree, Buzzy was lucky to be hosting the tournament of champions, where contestants are

Maybe the Earth Prime never had the Hindenburg disaster so they still figure what the hell because obviously they know these things are flying bombs just waiting for a spark.

She has a necklace shaped like a K, to help us remember her name. That’s all I’ve got.

Barry was just joking around about his Facebook page, specifically saying that he didn’t put it on there as a favorite song and it must have somehow been someone else who did.

As it turns out, Rainbow Raider 2.0 is awesome; she’s a modern day Robin Hood who steals a blimp in order to drop cash and jewels on the poor people of Central City.”

As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

The drama about Kamillah leaving is somewhat lessened by me not being able to remember a damn thing abut her other than that she is Cisco’s girlfriend

Yeah, I don’t know exactly if that episode was good, but it was the exact mood (dare I say vibe?) that the show should always be striving towards, and Poker Face karaoke was chef’s kiss perfect. Though if I did have a quibble, it’s that they had three damn fine singers present and they didn’t let them show their

There are times when we need to step back and appreciate the fact half of this episode is about a mad scientist and his army of clones turning people into monsters on an alien planet, and the other half’s about a 19th Century sorcerer changing reality into a cartoon and being defeated through song.

Am I the teensiest bit disappointed they didn’t do a full animated episode despite knowing how logistically impossible that would be? Yes, of course. Was what we got still great? Yes, of course. I also thought Matt Ryan was great tonight, especially when he was being possessed. And why was Spooner a fork?

The “Season 2 is when they figured it out” line was great--a nice nod to the show we’re all watching. Overall, though, I thought this episode was...meh? The Astra stuff was fine but, except for some of the Disney stuff, not great, and I just cannot stand the new villain; maybe he’ll grow on me but I found him

She’s dumb.

Has anyone read Elon Musks moms wikipedia? She grew up in a family that travelled the desert in a tiny plane searching for the lost city of Kalahari. I feel all this is an elaborate villainous scheme for his mom to become the ruler of the Kalahari city which is actually on the moon, and Grimes will be sacrificed with
